Decorating Guidelines

Due to the historic nature of The Ranson House please use the following guidelines when planning the décor for your event:

• No furniture or accessories may be moved without permission.
• No open flames may be used inside The Ranson House. Please pre-approve all use of candles of any type inside or out.
• Nothing may be attached to the walls or ceilings including pictures, streamers or balloons.
• No plastic, paper or metallic confetti or sprinkles may be used indoors or outdoors. No silly string or shaving cream is allowed. Sparklers are prohibited.
• Rice or birdseed may be used outside only. Please pre-approve anything that will be thrown at a wedding.
• When planning the entertainment for your younger guests please do not provide crayons, markers, or paints.
• Liquid bubbles may be used outside only.
• Please provide all your own equipment needed for decorating. (i.e. scissors, step stool, etc.)

The Ranson House reserves the right to halt any decorating that has not been approved prior to the event.
